Improper selection of appropriate type and design of heater can result in costly
down time or sub-standard processing performance. It is essential to operate
electric heating element with temperature controlling provisions.
Thermocouples are integrated into heaters to sense the temperature preset on
Temperature controllers.
Robots: Robots are used to accomplish tasks that are repetitive or that may be
hazardous to an employee. They are fast, reliable and consistent. Generally used in
moulding applications for part handling, conveying form one operation to other,
placing IML stickers in moulds, others
MELT PUMPS: Installed between your extruder and die. Their function is building
pressure and metering polymer to the die at a highly consistent rate and pressure,
eliminates extruder surge and screw beat at the die.
Knives and cutters: They are very important in plastic industry workshop and
should have high resistance to wear, corrosion resistance and high edge retention.
Cutters are used for granulators, pipes, profiles other applications where as knives
are used for removing flash form moulded articles, packaging and other
applications.
Process Automation: Effective operation, control and monitoring of the materials
handling system is essential for the ultimate efficiency of the production process.
Every automated process is controlled by three fundamental devices - sensors,
actuators and controllers, which together control and guides the process cycle.
Sensor is a device on machine such as a limit switch or pressure transducer that
measures or senses the condition of some aspect of the manufacturing process.
Actuators add or subtract energy to or from the process in form of motion, force,
heating or cooling. Motor and heater contactors or directional and proportional
valves are examples of actuators.
Controllers take information from the sensors and make decisions on what the
actuators should do at any given time. Together, the sensors, controller and
actuators control the automated process.
Cylinders: cylinders are in widespread use in industry wherever quick, powerful
linear actuation of moving gates, valves, levers and presses is required. Cylinders
come with bores and strokes in sizes ranging from fractions of an inch all the way up
to several feet. They are powered by compressed air (or oil) at pressures ranging
from a few pounds to hundreds of pounds per square inch and can provide
thousands of pounds of push or pull force. Pneumatic cylinders are available in a
number of types, including single-acting, double-acting, and double-acting with
piston rod attachments on both ends of the cylinder.
Valves: They can be Pneumatic valves (air) or Hydraulic valves (oil). Valves are
versatile components in any Plastic manufacturing machinery. Utilizing air or oil,
these valves can control the flow of all manner of liquids and gases as well as
controlling the movement of parts within a system.
Machine Spares: Every now and then all machines need overhauling and
replacement of high wear parts. Spares for all kinds of plastic processing and
ancillary machines ranging from Solenoid Valves, Double barrier Screws,
Pneumatic Valves, Oil Rings, Oil Seals, Gears, and other ancillary spares like scrap
