Woodholme Country Club culture reminder....
Getting a game: As many of you know Woodholme uses the online tee time
system to set-up all weekend play. Please remember that all tee time requests for
Saturday & Sunday play should be submitted by the end of day Tuesday. All
weekend tee sheets will be released on Wednesday. If you do not have a group
or are a single looking for a game, please call the Golf Shop to let us know. We
will make sure to find you a game at your desired playing time. We encourage
everyone to play and meet new people!
Pre-Round Check In: All members and guests will have to check in with the Golf
Shop prior to your tee off. All guests will have to be checked in by the hosting
member. Once checked in, you will see the starter outside who will get you set
up with your caddie or cart.
Posting Scores: Posting of all 9 and 18 hole scores is required. The golf
committee will check postings at random to ensure everyone is posting. All
tournament and flight winners’ scores are automatically checked. Golf is a game of
honor; please remember to post all scores.
Pace of Play: Please be respectful to the other players on the course and
complete your round of 18 holes in 4 hours or less. The golf committee will be
monitoring pace, and actions may be taken if these time requirements cannot be
met.
Golf Course Etiquette: It is very important we take care of our Golf Course.
Please remember it is always the responsibility of the player to fix their ball
marks, replace their divots and rake the bunkers. When driving your golf cart
please be mindful of all roped off areas and cart paths. We should always strive to
leave the course better than how we found it!
Putting Green Etiquette: When on or near the practice putting green, please
make sure that the proper golf footwear is worn. Also an adult must accompany
any children without golf privileges. Lastly, please make sure to always walk while
on the green.
