FINAL REFLECTION

Writing II is very useful in the learning of English, because it focuses on the development

of writing, which is an important part of English. Also things done in class were helpful to
put into practice what I learned.

This subject has helped me to improve my writing skills in three ways. First, I learned a
lot of writing techniques which helped me to write faster and answer questions or write what

the teacher said. For example, argumentative writings helped me to look for specific
information. Second, my understanding of writing improved. Also, I learned cause and effect

writings in which I analyzed the steps and the cohesion, so I had to analyze the writings
carefully. Also, I read articles that required concentration to be understood because it is

important for citation parts. I learned to analyze the sense that each writing needs. Finally, I

learned a lot of vocabulary. Each essay that I wrote in this class needed new words and I
looked for their meanings. So, these three ways that I learned English are really good for me.

To conclude, this subject was very meaningful in the learning of English but more
specifically in writing. I learned a lot of writing techniques and new words and phrases with

their correct preposition. Also, I read some articles that helped me to cite. In addition, I'm
happy because studying “Carrera de Idiomas” and with the help of subjects like writing II, I

can learn to improve the knowledge of others and that is only achieved with dedication and
understanding.
