                      3D Porous Catalysts: Noble Metal-free Foams Prepared by

                              DHBT for Efficient Glycerol Electro-oxidation

                                                       ABSTRACT

                        Three-dimensional  macroporous  noble  metal-free  films  are
                        successfully  prepared  by  one  step  electro-deposition  via  hydrogen
                        bubbles dynamic templates (DHBT) method. The prepared films are
                        characterized  by  scanning  electron  microscope  (SEM),  electron
                        dispersive  X-ray  (EDX),  X-ray  diffraction  (XRD),  and  X-ray
                        photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Moreover, the prepared electrodes
                        are  found  to  have  high  mechanical  stability  and  electrochemical
                        activity  towards  glycerol  electro-oxidation  and  water  splitting  in
                        alkaline medium.
