Dr. Ibrahim M. El-Sherbiny is a Tenured Full
Professor of smart nanomaterials and
nanomedicine, and he is the Founding Chairman

of Nanosience Program, Former Founding
Chairman of Materials Science Program, and the
Director of the Center of Materials Science (CMS)
at Zewail City of Science and Technology, Egypt’s
National Project of Scientific Renaissance that has
been established by the Egyptian Nobel Laureate,
Dr. Ahmed Zewail. El-Sherbiny earned his
Bachelor degree, with honors (top scholar) and
his Master of Science from Mansoura University.
He was awarded a graduate scholarship from the
Egyptian government and a second from Massey
Prof. Ibrahim M. El- University, New Zealand to study for his Doctor

Sherbiny of Philosophy degree abroad. He also has more
than 130 participations in international
conferences in different countries including for

Dr. El-Sherbiny is the Editor of the well-respected
City, 12578 Giza, Egypt long lasting Journal of “Drug Development and
Industrial Pharmacy” (DDIP, Taylor & Francis -
ielsherbiny@zewailcity.edu.eg USA), and the Editor-in-Chief of the “Journal of

Nanotechnology & Advanced Materials” -
Natural Sciences. plus being a amember of
editorial advisory borad of many other well-
respected nano- and phramaceutical journals.
