in Cairo, GUC, on biotechnology. The second workshop on nanotechnology

and will be conduct at Egypt Nanotechnology Center, Cairo University.

On the social side, we always try to allow our guests to taste the Egyptian

civilization; ancient, old and modern. Several site seeing tours and

visits will be organized just after or along the conference days.

Our deep gratitude to all colleagues who helped to get Chem 08 in its fantastic

trace. Our special thanks are due to Prof. Ashraf Mansour Founder and

Chairman of the board of trustees of GUC for his support and hosting

the biotechnology workshop in the labs of GUC. Thanks are due also to Prof.

Hans-Georg Breitinger. Head, Department of Biochemistry, Faculty

of Pharmacy and Biotechnology, GUC, who generously spares his time

to organize and set the time frame of the workshop. Thanks, are also due to

the Egyptian center of Nanotechnology and its director Prof. Gehad

Genady for conducting and hosting the nanotechnology workshop.

We really hope that Chem08 come as expected and more. We hope to boost

a new spirit of cooperation, respect and love among us in our

department.
