March 14, 2021 will see the ma- jority of the United States “spring forward” with their clocks as the daylight savings time will start. Currently only Arizona and Hawaii are the only two states that will not change their time.
Do we really get an extra hour of daylight during this time? Does this time change cause you to fire up the grill any more than normal? I would answer no to that question but circum-
stances surrounding the added hour of sunlight surely makes it much more pleasant for grilling and smoking outside. When I was younger and slept later into the mornings I would have said yes... we do get more sunlight during the time change, but now that I am an early riser I find that is not the case at all. (Ain’t it amazing what we learn as we get older?)
We hope most everyone enjoys the upcoming time change and know that some of our snow covered friends will surely welcome those warmer circumstances that surround this yearly occasion. Here’s hoping also that our fellow Hawaiians and Arizonians find that not changing time is a great reason to Keep It Smokin’ too.
  Until Next Month...Keep It Smokin'
