Napier has a fine coastal position and many cruise ships stop over for their passengers to stroll round the town for a couple of hours.
The new coastal viewing platform allows visitors to experience the beach from above and, in stunning weather, it provides great photo opportunities. The marina is now an increasingly popular place to meet and eat.
