EXTERIOR PAINTING

WOOD FINISHES

Soffits, Handrail System, and Fascia

Inspect all wood painted surfaces annually. Seal any separated joints with an approved
sealant and touch-up.

Repaint wood surfaces in approx. 3-5 years. Wood exposed to direct sunlight (south /
west facing) may require painting / maintenance at shorter intervals than other areas.

METAL FINISHES

Inspect all metal painted surfaces semi-annually.
Ensure that sprinklers are not soaking the metal as that will shorten the useful life of the
paint and the metal.

Repaint metal surfaces in approx. 3-5 year.
