1. Provide a general narrative description and history of the firm and team that the firm is proposing to provide
construction management and general construction services.

Our Founder, Otto Baum, immigrated to Morton, Illinois in 1925 with the hopes of building a life for himself and his family. He
quickly established a reputation for being an honest and hard-working man. When Otto applied for a loan to purchase equipment
for his masonry company in 1937, he had nothing to use as collateral except for his proven character and admirable reputation.
When the bank manager asked the loan officer why they should consider Otto’s request, the officer simply replied, “I trust him.”
This event sparked the beginning of our company, which now operates in multiple locations across the U.S., supported by over
1,200 employees and a strong culture built on the same trust and values that Otto started the company with in 1937. CORE has a

The team members selected for your project are some of the most experienced professionals in the industry, with recent and
relevant fire station and rebuild project experience. As President of CORE Arizona, Fred Knapp will be accountable for the overall
success of the project. Ryan Knapp will serve as the overall Project Manager and main point of contact for the project. Jake
Pombier, PreConstruction Manager/Estimator, will direct our pre-construction effort along with the rest of CORE’s highly
qualified pre-construction team. Jose Acosta will serve as Superintendent, overseeing daily site supervision and will be your on-
site contacts.
