Custom Installs
DirecTV offers free standard installation on up to 4 rooms to every Cx that signs up for service. Some Cx's fall into a category of Custom Installs depending on the situation of their installation. Installers WILL NOT perform any actions resulting in a Custom Install without finding out if the Cx is okay with the work and charges that go along with the Custom Install. Custom Installs vary for every install but average between $40-$60.
Examples of Custom Installs:
• Brackets or Under Eve Mounts - most common for Cx with a tile roof
• Tri-pods or Pole Mounts - most common for Cx not wanting the dish on the roof.
• Extra Wiring (within 100ft of television)
• Fishing Wires thru walls
• Camouflage or hiding of extra wires
Paperwork/Phone Call Process
In order to complete an order and schedule an installation date for the Cx you must complete paperwork with the Cx and place a phone call to our call center. Make sure to prepare the Cx for the phone call process. Go over the NEW CUSTOMER SALES ORDER WORKSHEET to prepare them for this while you are waiting on hold w/ the call center. Ready the Cx to enter their Social Security # as well as a credit/debit card number to do a credit check on the Sara plus app.
Qualifying Customers
Customers are not eligible for the DirecTV Costco Promotion if they are an existing customer or have had the service within the last 2 years. This includes spouses and children. Attempting to sign up a Cx that falls into this category is called flipping a Cx and is not only not allowed but is considered fraud and will result in immediate termination.
Cx must do a credit check (currently a social security number is necessary for this)
Cx must have a credit or debit card from a bank in their name. No Prepaid or Gift Cards Cx must have landlord permission when renting
