productions, notably, for the opera, Dead
Man Walking, starring Joyce DiDonato,
at both The Teatro Real Opera (Madrid,
Spain) and The Barbican/BBC Symphony
(London). She has coached for Houston
Grand Opera, Prague Shakespeare Co.,
The Alley Theatre, Stages Repertory
Theatre, Ensemble Theatre, and Main
Street Theater as well as on a number of
film projects. Carolyn directs for the stage,
