Policy No. 103 – Impact Youth Development Strategy
All staff interact with Club members in a way that promotes positive youth development and impact.
Attendance: In order to attract new members, retain existing members and encourage members to attend more often, we know that a Club must provide a powerful Club Experience. Therefore, measuring attendance at the Club and participation in programs also helps the Club assess the effectiveness of its Club Experience.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale reports Key Performance Indicators and other measures of success with integrity and full transparency. It is the expectation of the organization that information shared is accurate and a true representation of performance in our organization.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale partners with Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Club Parents/Guardians, and Staff to conduct ongoing assessments of quality that serve as a guide to continuous improvement at every level of the organization.
Together, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale and Boys & Girls Clubs of America follow the FORMULA FOR IMPACT, our roadmap for ensuring that young people have a positive, impactful Club Experience, and ultimately, achieve the important outcomes that lead them to Great Futures!
Boys & Girls Clubs programs promote the development of young people by instilling a sense of
competence, a sense of usefulness, a sense of belonging and a sense of power or influence. When this
strategy is fully implemented, self-esteem is enhanced, and an environment is created which helps boys
and girls achieve their full potential. Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale ensures the programs and
services provided to members prepares them for success today, tomorrow, and in the future.
