STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE OVERVIEW
A Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) is a process specific to Club operation that describes the
activities necessary to complete tasks in accordance with Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale
policies, County, State, and Federal regulations, and/or Boys & Girls Clubs of America standards for
 running the business.
This section of the manual is designed as a guide to create consistency across sites, as well as, provide
support for staff new to Club operations. It is impossible to document everything that a Club professional
must know about daily operations; therefore, it is expected that this manual will be used as a tool in
conjunction with guidance from supervisors, policies, and personal responsibility for making the best
possible decision for the youth and families we serve.
Each SOP item presented will be documented in the following format.
