Clay Pigeon Shooting
Day: Tuesday (Michaelmas first half; then from Lent Half Term)
Time: 3.45pm-6.00pm
Venue: Offsite
Open to: First Form – Upper Sixth
Selection: Open
MIC: Ms P Eagles
Description: Opportunity for students to develop an existing or new skill. All shots
receive tuition and the opportunity to shoot for the school in competitions.
Special note: Session charge is £32.50 which includes tuition, clays,
cartridge and use of guns. Parental permission required. No fees
when shooting for the school team in competitions.
Climbing Wall (LENT & SUMMER TERM)
Day: Monday
Time: Period 6
Venue: School climbing wall
Open to: Third Form to Upper Sixth
Selection: None
MIC: Mr Stindt and Mr Millington
Description: This is a recreational climbing session when you
can come and learn the skills to get started, enjoy
bouldering on the school wall, or just climb for
fun and fitness. Coaching is available, but
you are equally welcome to enjoy some
time relaxing by climbing for its own sake.
Skills learnt: rope-work, belay skills,
effective balance and movement,
strength/fitness.
