2 Knots You Need To Know

Cleat Hitch Knot
Whether you’re pulling into the fuel dock or cleating off
an anchor line, you need to know the cleat hitch.
The good news? It’s amazingly simple.

Bowline Knot
The bowline is used to create a loop in the end of a line,
which can come in handy for any number of reasons rang-
ing from securing a line to a piling, to attaching two lines
together. The big advantage it has over other knots is that
it’s very easy to undo, even after being under tension.
