1. This curve is valid for cold-worked type 316 stainless steel components providing operating temperature does not exceed

800 F (426 C). After this temperature, the material is PERMANENTLY altered, and the component should be considered
as annealed from then on, derating it to 40% of its cold-worked value.
2. Curves and ratings presented here are average values for reference only, and can be significantly affected by pressure
and temperature charactistics of packing and trim materials. For extreme pressure/temperature requirements, please
contact factory for recommendations.
