Head length
The 50P series fi lters are base - Ductile iron
mounted, which provides several construction-
possible advan tages. The bowl SAE or manifold
up mounting makes servicing the ports
elements quick and easy. Simply - Meets SAE HF4
remove the top cover to access automotive
the element. A drain port is provided specifi cation
to allow oil be removed from fi lter
prior to element servicing. This
design reduces the possibility of oil
spillage and injury to maintenance
personnel.

The 50P series has optional manifold Bypass
porting for space saving design (not visible)
that re duces the number of fi ttings - Cartridge style
and potential leak points. The
porting is also designed to match - Precision matched
the installation of many other assemblies Indicators
manufacturers. Most important, - Visual or
