Application:

The customer manufactures a paper
formulated for ink jet printers. A
coating is applied to the paper which
is referred to as a coil coating process.
The paper is unrolled and the coating
is applied to the surface of the paper
by a doctor blade. The coating is then
cured on the paper, after which the
paper is re-rolled, cut, and packaged
for sale. The coating is batch filled in
order to assure a smooth application
and defect-free finish to the surface of
the paper.
