The only access to the entrances to the venue is by means of land trains. This is
for reasons of safety and comfort. The roads and pedestrian paths will be closed
during the staging of the event. Once you have parked your car, disembarked from
your coach or exited your taxi at the designated parking areas or drop-off point,
you will have a short walk to ‘Mark Parkway’ station.

If you’re arriving by coach or car, the station will be approximately 150 metres
away from your parking area. For those travellers arriving by taxi or private hire
car, the distance is slightly less. For travellers who would find walking this distance
challenging, we have provided a shuttle service.
‘Mark Parkway’ station has a waiting area where our travellers can sit, whilst
waiting for their trains, listen to the music of one of our jazz bands and enjoy a
complimentary ice cream from our ice cream vendor. Travellers who are arriving
independently, (not staying at one of our designated hotels) can register at the
registration desks and collect their Guest Information packs and bags. These will
be waiting for you at one of the registration desks marked ‘A-E, F–O and P—Z’.
Every ‘Guest Information Pack’ will contain your rail tickets that you should remove
from your packs and have to hand to give to the ticket collectors for clipping on
arrival at your designated station. Travellers should plan to arrive at the Kent
Event centre at least 20 minutes before the departure time of their train. All our
travellers will have received train time tables via the Guest Management website. It
is wise to note that if you miss your train you may have to wait a while because
every seat on our trains has been reserved.
