CSI SafeFume™ Fuming Cabinet

Specialist Items CSI Safefume™ cyanoacrylate fuming chambers are designed to safely
develop latent fingerprints using ethyl cyanoacrylate (CNA) vapor in a
controlled environment for optimum effectiveness and safety where moisture
and fuming time are critical factors. The tamper resistant compartment
helps maintain the chain of custody. The unique Air Science® Multiplex™
filtration system, together with professional design and unique construction
features offer personnel protection during use. The ductless filtration system
requires no connection to an outside exhaust system. The automatic control
system programs the fuming cycle. A versatile system of hanging rods and
shelves allows proper positioning of items of evidence in the chamber.
The professionally designed automatic fuming chamber eliminates reliance
on do-it yourself systems that lack user-safety allowances and microprocessor controls needed for repeatable CODE
results.

The Safefume™ system controls all functions from start-to-finish, permitting the investigator to initiate an
unattended automatic cycle, establish the proper fuming intensity and duration, and to return upon completion to collect
results.
Fuming time, humidity and chamber fume evacuation can be user-set to comply with internal department criteria, lab safety
protocols or best practices in evidence management.

CSI Pre-View Panoramic Imager

The CSI Pre-View Panoramic Imager and software
solution has been designed with simplicity in mind.
Just attach either a Nikon or Canon DSLR to a specially
designed fish-eye lens which inturn is mounted to a
3 stop rotator and a tripod. Turn the rotator 3 times,
taking a picture on each occasion and then transfer
those images to our software. The software then
stitches the images together allowing you a perfect
360° image of the area you have viewed. In addition
you can stitch those 360° images together and even
transfer between those images enabling you to get a complete view and understanding of the crime scene. CODE
Presenting a crime scene in a 360° image will give you the full view of the ‘room’ that otherwise would have 97500
required both many more photos and written explanations to connect the premises.
This is a simple, low cost solution for any law enforcement agency that wants quality 360° imaging but without the price
tag normally associated with this type of functionality.
