Access to enter vehicles is limited to before and after school, unless permission is granted by the principal or an assistant
principal.
ATHLETIC DISCIPLINARY RULES
Athletics is a privilege not a right. A student athlete playing and competing for the Pine Hill School District must recognize
and remember this fact. As a student athlete, you represent the Pine Hill Public Schools and the communities of Pine Hill,
Clementon and Berlin Township and you are expected to portray yourself, your team, and the School District in a positive
manner at all times.
Suspension
1 Suspension –

1. Student must get reinstated before they may return to practice
a. Student writes a letter to the Athletic Director
b. Student must attend a meeting with the Athletic Director.
2. Student will have to sit for 10% of athletic contests.
a. Athletic contests missed during the suspension period are not counted in the 10%
b. If a suspension occurs at the end of the season, the athletic contest suspension will carry over to the next season. (ex.
Football to basketball)
c. Suspension from practice and athletic contests will begin the day the suspension is assigned and will continue through
until the suspension has
been cleared by reinstatement.
2 Suspension -

1. Dismissal from the team.
AIR
For the purposes of the Athletic Disciplinary Policy, one day of AIR is equal to a suspension.
Infractions will be tracked for each athletic season and consequences will be administered by the coach or
athletic director. Any attitude or behavior which is considered by the disciplining administrator to be detrimental
to the ethical principles of the group or reflects poorly on the Pine Hill school system will result in dismissal from
the team. Student athletes will start each season with zero infractions.

Excused Absence – An excused absence from a practice or contest is one of the following : A student is absent from
school due to illness with a doctor note, a doctor appointment, funeral, religious holiday, drivers test, and circumstances
