Summer programs

Creative Arts Camp
Our Creative Arts Camp, held in July, engages students entering
grades 1-6 in music, movement, visual art activities, and indoor
and outdoor games. Participants are grouped by grade level
(grades 1-2, 3-4, and 5-6) and rotate through planned activities.
We begin and end each day with a camp-wide gathering in which
participants can share experiences and get to know campers
in other groups. Weather permitting, we take advantage of our
proximity to Fletcher-Murphy Park (just outside our doors) and
spend time in the sunshine. On the afternoon of the final day, we
invite family and friends to stop by early and experience the fruits
of our time together.

Summer Jam Camp
Enjoy a week of musical exploration with our jazz faculty
members. Inspiration will be drawn from the diverse worlds of
rock, blues, Latin, and jazz. Workshops will include ensemble
playing, performance skills, recording technique, improvisation,
and instrumental master classes in percussion, winds, strings,
guitar, piano, and bass. The camp is open to instrumentalists ages
10-adult.
