‘to enter’ and the suffix ‘tain’ meaning ‘to occupy.’ Simply expressed believing artist are entertainers. That is, they wish to enter into the
worlds of those they serve and occupy them with worthy thoughts, with truth, and beauty from God’s perspective. A preacher on Sunday is also
an entertainer. He occupies his congregation through his public speaking skills with truth, that potentially can change our lives. Why should we
be so afraid of this word? Often, we would prefer to speak Christianese, and say, we do not entertain, we minister. It is simply semantics. A
true servant artist entertains for the glory of God.
