 Rosehip Smoothie
 Rosehips have been used for centuries in traditional and folk medicine for their rich nutrients and disease-fighting antioxidants such as Vitamin C, catechins, quercetin & ellagic acid. Supports immune system, eye health, protects against heart disease, aids weight loss, protects against type 2 diabetes, reduces inflammation, arthritis, osteoarthritis, pain, oxidative stress in your body & prevents skin aging.
RECIPE
Ingredients
. Dried Rosehips - 12g
. Filtered Water
. Bananas - frozen 3-6
. Vanilla extract - tsp
. Sugar alternative, Agave or honey or Lacuma Optional-Chia seeds
Optional-Beet powder or Pitaya for colour
Method
Boil Rosehips in a pot with a cup & 1/2 of water for 5-10 minutes. Strain.
Blend all ingredients and serve. You can also use Rosehip Syrup to make tea or Soup (Nordic dessert). Enjoy!
