impROVAC 6” SUBSEA DREDGER

The impROVAC-6 Inch Dredger is a multi-use dredger,
able to make use of both the larger main hydraulic
supply from a ROV and also to use the lower powered
supply from a tooling system. The dredger has
sediment removal capacity of up to 50 tons per hour
with maximum debris size of 145 mm.
The main dredger unit is able to be mounted either inboard of the ROV, in a
skid or onto a backpack arrangement.
There is a 6m suction hose provided that links up to an inlet head which Dredger Unit
can be positioned by the manipulator to direct where the suction force is
applied.
The suction head has an option of two rakes that can be added to assist in
breaking down the soil being dredged if it does not break down due to the
suction force alone. There is also 1.5m of flexible discharge hose that can
be used to direct the dredged particles away from the area where the ROV
is operating.
The dredger is supplied in a transport basket that allows for the complete Dredger Transport Package
system to be packed together for storage or shipping. The hydraulic motor
of the dredger is interchangeable to optimise performance depending on
whether the main hydraulic supply or the tooling supply is being used.
