inflexible, and often – perhaps – necessarily intolerant of

failure and mistakes.

The first two positions of leadership and their resulting

domains are based on the power to control others
regardless of their willingness to follow or their

understanding of the need to follow. They are also the
result of a predominantly human enterprise.

Leadership through Authority - The third domain is
developed as a result of leadership from the position of

authority. Spiritually speaking, this is different from the
power positions because it focuses on the heart, not just

the mind. Contrary to the two power positions, this
comes about from two sources and produces a dual

authority. First is the “do as I do” servant leader, which
inspires others to follow and grant human-based
authority to the leader. Secondly and most importantly,

the HOLY SPIRIT grants Spiritual Authority to the leader
to operate in the Name of JESUS. Here is where lives are

changed in the deepest, most intimate, and permanent
ways. Here is where the follower grants authority to the

leader who is under the Lordship of CHRIST JESUS to
speak into their lives on matters of the heart and soul. It

is from the position of authority that the Church Body
must address so-called racial issues. It is from the

position of authority, that the Church Body can
