We have discussed the fallacies associated with secular
perspectives. Too often, this worldly view either
discounts sin, justifies it, or worse, it encourages and
celebrates it. “Race” related derivatives such as racism,
violent behavior, placing blame on others for one’s own
conduct, bearing a false witness against someone (such
as falsely accusing someone of racism) speaking, and
thinking contrary to the Biblical Truth – including the
sociological view of “race” versus how GOD views
humankind - are in fact sinful in nature. Tragically, they
all align those who, traffic in this conduct with the
enemy of our souls.
We are commanded to love one another. This certainly
does not include overlooking sin. It does not permit
political correctness or secular humanistic precepts
designed to divide people. It commands that we love
the sinner but hate the sin. Since we love each other, we
would not want to see anyone destroyed by knowingly
or unknowingly abiding in sin. Since we love one
another, we want all to know there is a way out. That
begins with speaking the truth about sin and the penalty
for sin, which is death. That begins with lovingly,
compassionately, but unapologetically confronting
secular perspectives regarding the human family. It may
even require a passionate and intense level of
confrontation as exhibited by our LORD JESUS such as in
