- The “Hell is not real” deception – The same
deception that purports that Satan is not real also
asserts that hell is not real. The Bible tells us that
such claims are totally false. CHRIST affirmed that hell
is real. HE did this both in his direct teachings

(Mat.5:29) and through his parables (Mat.13:42).
The reality of hell is repeatedly affirmed throughout
the Gospels. In addition, the Book of Revelation
provides numerous affirmations (Rev.19:20, 20:10).
To deny that hell exist not only denies CHRIST but
also the certain truth of the Bible.

- The “New Age” deception– A growing number of
Progressive thinking Christians are becoming more
vocal in rationalizing that old traditional values are no
longer applicable. This deceit traces back to denying
the written WORD of GOD that is given to us in the
Bible. Those who intently study the Bible will come to
know the certainty of its Word. Those who don’t are
easily deceived.

- The “GOD is on our side” deception – We must
recognize that those who are quick to voice this claim
often do so with selfish motives of deceit. How often
do we hear this claim made by those who blatantly
disregard the sovereignty of GOD over all life and

over all things of the universe? This phrase is a
favorite of those who are disguising evil as good.
They disguise their evil motives with a form of
godliness while denying GOD as the only source for
true authority and power (II Timothy 3:5). When we
hear this phrase, we should be suspicious. CHRIST
