first consider what the Bible tells us about the time
period in which we now live. When prophecy scholars
speak of present times, they often refer to the “latter
days” and the “last days”. There is unified consensus
among today’s prophecy scholars. Virtually all resolutely

say that we are living in the last of the “latter days”.
Virtually all say that we are living in the time that is
rapidly moving toward the “last days”? Bible scripture
affirms their views.

CHRIST instructed us on the signs and events that would
trigger the coming “last days”. In Matthew 24:32-34, HE
described the signs that will enable us to recognize the
season that will lead up to the last days, “Now learn this
parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already
become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that
summer is near. So you also, when you see all these
things, know that it is near—at the doors! Assuredly, I

say to you, this generation will by no means pass away
till all these things take place.”

This Scripture provides considerable evidence that we

are now living in the season of “latter days” that is
leading up to the “last days”. The “fig tree” that CHRIST
referred to is Israel; its leaves are tender and are now
bearing fruit. Since Israel’s rebirth in 1948, it has steadily
blossomed from nearly two millenniums of desolation
into a blooming nation that is prosperous and self-
sustaining. Thus, it is virtually certain that the last

generation, which CHRIST referred to, is already alive
today. This means that we are living in a time that the
Bible refers to as the season for CHRIST’s return. These
