Prophecy tells the exact day that CHRIST was crucified

Part 1: Proving the Appointed Day
Dan. 9:24-26 “Seventy weeks are determined for your
people and for your holy city, To finish the transgression,

To make an end of sins, To make reconciliation for
iniquity, To bring in everlasting righteousness, To seal up
vision and prophecy, and To anoint the Most HOLY.”

1. To finish transgression – Completed on the cross

when CHRIST said, “It is finished”
2. To make an end to sins – Completed on the cross -
CHRIST defeated Death, Hell, and the Grave
3. To make reconciliation for iniquity – CHRIST’s
sacrifice provided mankind a path back to GOD
4. To bring everlasting righteousness – CHRIST’s
crucifixion gave mankind a path to everlasting life
5. Seal up the vision and the prophecy – Daniel told to

seal his vision; later John extended the vision
6. To anoint the most HOLY – This will occur when
CHRIST returns as our anointed King
“Know therefore and understand, that from the going
forth of the command to restore and build Jerusalem
until Messiah the Prince, there shall be seven weeks and
sixty-two weeks; the street shall be built again, and the

wall, even in troublesome times.”
