At that time, Britton’s foreign secretary, Lord Arthur
James Balfour, wrote an informal letter that became
known as the Balfour Declaration (1917). This letter
declared Brittan’s intent to establish a national home for

the Jewish people within what was formerly Palestine
territory. This declaration was a key factor in deciding
the provisions of the 1923 Treaty of Lausanne. This
treaty repartitioned the lands along former territorial
boundaries; Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Palestine and
the Holy lands of Israel. Turkey remained as the only
Ottoman remnant with its capital, Istanbul (formerly
Constantinople). With this treaty, GOD’s plan was

accomplished.

The third event that Jeremiah foretold has yet to be
fulfilled. Jeremiah 12:16-17 relays GOD’s promise and
warning to Israel’s neighbors and former foes. First,

GOD promised, “If they will learn carefully the ways of
MY people, to swear by MY name, then they shall be
established in the midst of MY people. However, GOD
also warned, “But if they do not obey, I will utterly pluck
up and destroy that nation”. Given the constant threats
against modern Israel, GOD could act at any moment.

Prophecies for Israel: fulfilled: 1925 - 1945
[Is. 11:10-16, 35:10] As World War I came to an end,
GOD set HIS plan for returning Jews a second time and
for restoring Israel to its full glory (Is.35:1-2, Is.41:17-20).

Much of the desolate lands of Israel remained unvalued
properties of Turkish Lords. Since the lands of Israel lay
