the Excellency of GOD.

Isaiah 35:10 prophesied the joy as the remnants of Israel
return - And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and
come to Zion with singing, with everlasting joy on their
heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow
and sighing shall flee away.

Isaiah 60:8-9 also gave an accurate glimpse of how Israel
would return - “Who are these who fly like a cloud, and
like doves to their roosts? Surely the coastlands shall
wait for ME; And the ships of Tarshish will come first, to
bring your sons from afar, their silver and their gold with

them, to the name of the LORD your GOD, and to the
HOLY ONE of Israel, because HE has glorified you.”

To comprehend the profound beauty and uniqueness of
the Jewish people who have lived since the scattering,

consider their persistence over thousands of years. The
Jewish people would never give up their unique identity
given to them by GOD, even over thousands of years
living in hostile foreign lands. Extraordinarily, they kept
their faith. As the ancient prophets prophesied, the one
true GOD, the GOD of Israel, kept HIS covenant and HIS
promise that HE would restore the desolate lands and
return HIS people to their inherited land that HE set

aside specifically for the Jews at the tower of Babel
(Gen. 11:1-9 and Gen. 12:7-8).
