After the report returns the data:

         1. Export the resulting data to Excel, and

         2. Delete the total row at the bottom of the data (the Grand Total line).

While not required, there is a shared folder under the Finance Team O365 Budget Reporting folder where original source data
files can be saved (the export files does not need to be kept after the data is imported to Salesforce) if you would like to save
while working on the import. See the folder location below.

For Period 12 (August), all transaction detail records for account 91999 (Year End Close Transfer) should
be included (91999 nets the E&G lines to $0 for the fiscal year). The Power BI data model will exclude
                       these lines in budget reports.

The folder location screenshots in this document were generated from File Explorer. It is recommended
that you sync the Finance Team O365 Budget Reporting folder to your laptop for easiest manipulation of
the data files related to budget reporting. These local files will sync back online to SharePoint

                       automatically.

IMPORTING EXPORTED COMPASS EBI DATA TO SALESFORCE

The resulting Compass data exported above is then imported to Salesforce in the custom object Compass Actuals via the XL-
Connector tool (an Excel add-in that must be installed on your machine by the AAE technical team). To import the closed
Compass data export above into Salesforce:

            1. In Excel, ensure you are logged into Salesforce through XL-Connector.

            2. Place your cursor in the first cell and from the XL-Connector tab click Insert > Insert All.
