REFRESHING THE CURRENT FISCAL YEAR EXCEL FILE ON

SHAREPOINT WITH THE NEW DATA

After the data is imported/uploaded into Salesforce, the Excel file on SharePoint for the fiscal year needs to be updated using
the XL-Connector. This Excel file is what becomes the data source for the Power BI data model. The actuals file for a fiscal year
will include all 56 of the standard EBI columns for the Finance team as well as two Salesforce columns:

1. Name – the unique name given to the Salesforce record (all field values begin with “TRANSACTUAL” followed by a
unique 7-digit number, e.g., TRANSACTUAL0237656).

2. Id – the Salesforce record ID (the internal database ID for the Salesforce record, consisting of 18 random characters)

Excel files for each fiscal year are saved in a shared folder under the Finance Team O365 Budget Reporting folder for actuals
(Data Tables > Actuals). See the folder location below.
