Varies by the transaction type. Program codes are applied on a transaction-by-transaction basis if the purpose of the
expenditure was primarily related to professional development. (Prior to summer 2022 it was used to track the state or
country in which travel was completed or where an event was held. It is no longer being used for this tracking.)
Relevance to AAE in Reporting
Somewhat relevant. Running EBI reports summarized by Program code 00329 allows AAE to understand spend on professional
development activities across the division.
