Amy Norton, Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
Amy Norton is Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at the Office
for Students. As well as overseeing the implementation of OfS’s Public Peregrine Risk Management Nuology
Sector Equality Duty objectives and action plan, Amy leads on work to
tackle sexual harassment, violence and hate crime affecting students
and OfS’s work to enhance support for students experiencing mental
health difficulties. She works within the Directorate for Access, Inclusion
and Skills, aiming to identify and promote effective practice in E,D&I in PPSS Group Deister Electronic

of work, Amy is a Trustee Board member of Gloucestershire Rape Crisis

This presentation will set out the approach the OfS is taking to tackle
all forms of harassment and sexual misconduct affecting students in all
types of HE provider in England. Amy will describe the OfS’s statement
of expectations, launched in 2021, and their plans for evaluating its
impact on university and college systems, policies and processes and Niton Equipment Ltd ParkSmart
the part that the university security community can play in implementing
these and keeping students safe and well on campus.
