the skin, an attempt to pull them causes pain. Nail does not contain melonin.
Hair develops in hair follicles, or hair bags. Here is the root of the hair. Besides
him, there are sebaceous glands in the bags, the secret of which lubricates the hair and
skin. Hair doesn't grow on the palms of the hands. There is a small muscle in the follicle
that can lift the hair, causing the effect of "goose bumps". This happens when a person
is cold, or he experiences strong emotions.
Thus, each hair has a stem and a root. Blood vessels and nerves approach the
root. How long a hair lives depends on many factors.
The part of the nail immersed in the skin is called the root. The visible part is the
body of the nail. Nails cover the most exposed parts of the fingers, which perform a
protective function.
It should be noted that skin derivatives include not only hair and nails, but also
mammary glands, as well as sweat and sebaceous. Mammary glands consist of more
than ten modified sweat glands. Each sweat gland turned into a lobule. In men, they
remain underdeveloped.
