5. Registered disabled drivers

The Company recognises its obligation to ensure that colleagues with disabilities receive the same level of
benefit. As a result, the cost of all necessary disability-related adaptations will be met by the Company.

Such adaptations will be provided for colleagues who fall within the definition as defined by the Disability
Discrimination Act. Under the Act, a person has a disability ‘if they have a physical or mental impairment
that has a substantial and long term effect on their ability to carry out normal day-to-day activities.’

Colleagues may be subject to an assessment by the company’s Occupational Health provider, prior to any
            adaptations being authorised.

            6. Key driver duties and responsibilities

            Driving licenses
It is the responsibility of all colleagues, using company cars, to ensure that they carry a valid driving license
at all times showing their current address.

All drivers must submit a mandate document to the Fleet Department in order for the company to ensure
that licences are valid. Colleagues are not authorised to drive company vehicles prior to appropriate
            licence checks being undertaken.

Colleagues must inform their line manager immediately of any changes in circumstances that may affect
            their ability to drive.

Driving licenses – Republic of Ireland
For company car or van drivers (not a commercial vehicle that is subject to O licence audit) the driver must
obtain a copy of their licence from the Irish DVLA at a cost of fifteen EURO. The company can request this
information from the colleague annually and colleagues can claim the €15.00 via the expenses process.

            Revocation of Driving Licence
If a licence is revoked for a period because of a traffic offence, it is a colleague’s responsibility to ensure
that their line manager and The Fleet Department are immediately informed.

If a colleague loses their licence and cannot undertake their role efficiently this may lead to disciplinary
proceedings. Any costs incurred because of any suspension from driving, e.g. taxi or train fares, should not
            be reclaimed from the company.

Car allowances will cease for the duration of any ban. Company car drivers must note that upon re-issue of
their driving license it is unlikely that their original company car will be returned, as this will have been
reallocated. Instead, colleagues will be issued with an available car until the lease of that vehicle is up for
            renewal.
            Traffic offences
Colleagues are responsible for paying any fines related to road traffic offences including parking fines.

The Fleet team will notify any colleague who has received a fine by email or post. In response to this fine,
the colleague will be able to either pay in full, setup a payment plan or appeal the fine. If no response is
received within 7 days, a second attempt will be made. If no response is received to within 48 hours, an
auto salary deduction will be arranged.

Speeding and other moving vehicle offences
The fleet team will notify colleagues of any traffic offences, as soon as we are informed by the vehicle
leasing company. Any colleague who wilfully does not respond or provides false information will be subject
            to disciplinary proceedings.
