Run Commands
Windows 10 comes with a whole host of different ways to open individual Apps and features. Below is a short list
of some popular ‘Run Commands’ you can use to open Apps and Features quickly using the ‘Run’ box. You could, on the
other hand, use them to create shortcuts on your desktop.
To use ‘Run’, Key Win + r, type in the command and click ‘OK’. The App or Feature will open directly.
To create a ‘Shortcut’ for a command, right click an empty part of the Desktop, select ‘New’ then ‘Shortcut’. In the
‘Create a shortcut’ window, type in the command and click ‘Next’. In the next window you can give the shortcut an ap-
propriate name or leave it as it is. Once you’ve decided, click ‘Finish. The shortcut will appear on the desktop.
