Feast Wishes is a celebration in the High School which
honors teachers who throughout the year inspire and
impact students’ lives at Carrollton. The celebration began
with a prayer service during which each teacher held a lit
candle, symbolizing the light that they shine on their
students. The Junior Class which held the ceremony gave
each teacher a videotape that embodied his or her
personality and service in some way. Math teachers
received Good Will Hunting for their committed effort to
help students succeed in math; coaches received A League
of Their Own for helping our women athletes realize their
full potential. And our principal, Mrs. Hewett, received a
well-deserved Ferris Bueller’s Day Off because somehow
no one has successfully been able to achieve what Ferris
has. The ceremony ended with a humorous skit which
reminded students that no other teachers compare to
Carrollton’s!
