On February 19,2002, the Fifth Grade created their own
colonial village which took many days of hard work. They
researched what it was like to live in the early days of
America. Not only did they find interesting information bui
they created real shops and trades through song-writing,
designing costumes and scenery. Timelines were created tdi
depict events of that era while questions were created to |
make a colonial scavenger hunt. The fifth graders also wrot)
letters to a friend or relative in London describing their nevi
life in America. They created colonial songs to enjoy
with colonial food such as combread, which was a
food at that time. The Intermediate School enjoyed living
the colonial village of 1702 in the Middle Colonies.
