Whether it is in the Pri
mary or the Intermediate, the 8th
          Grade Service Day, High School
          Service Clubs, or early release
for seniors to go serve others,
the students set an example for
          social action and awareness.
               The High School students
          give 130 hours of community
          service by graduation time in
          agencies such as the Barnyard
          Community Center, The Red
          Cross, and Camillus House.
          Aside from this, service opportu
          nities abound throughout the
          whole school through toy and
food drives, as well as tutoring
          other children.
               Service is an essential part
          of a Sacred Heart education,
          teaching students about critical
social issues and giving them the
          confidence to make a difference
          in society.
