First Communion

The much awaited day by all second graders
finally arrived on the morning of February 26, 2000.
At the Church of St. Ffugh, 35 second graders
received the Body of Christ for the first time from
Father Tim. After the beautiful ceremony, a recep­
tion was held at the Junior High campus where the
students enjoyed a private breakfast. “This is some­
thing the girls have looked forward to since the

beginning of the 2nd grade,” said Mrs. Garcia, “they
feel much closer to Jesus now and are very excited to
be able to receive communion with their families.”
