Master Plan
' Imagine Carrollton's Tomorrow" is the Master Plan
project developed by Sister Cooke to benefit the
community physically, educationally and spiritually,
"It captures a community's aspirations, ambitions and:
dreams."
The Master Plan began with the construction of the
Melissa Rodriguez Assembly Hall and Rose Hall followed
by the completion of Phase I of the Barry Building
renovation. The Science and Technology Hall and
Founders Library were completed in 2007, and the
Intermediate Pavilion in 2009. Renovations to El Jardin
and Trinita were also made under the Master Plan in
order to preserve the historic, integrity of these national
historic landmarks.
In 2014, the Fernandez and Argiz Families Wellness
Center was completed artd modern playgrounds were
added to both the Montessori and Primary schools.
Additionally, the Barat and Duchesne campuses have
undergone significant landscape improvements, and
the Convocation Center is scheduled for completion
in 2017.
The Master Plan was designed to provide state-of-the-
art facilities specific to each discipline with an attention
to aesthetics. "Beauty enhances the soul and opens
your heart to mystery." The Master Plan also provides
more financial aid opportunities, expanding professional
development opportunities for faculty and staff as well
as introducing spiritual enrichment programs community-
wide and plans for a robust endowment program.
Sister Cooke's Master Plan has created a lasting legacy.
Her great gifts’ to the Carrollton community will live on
for generations. Sister Cooke states, "We did it with a lot
of love and when it's finished, we can all take pride: in it. I
hope it becomes a foundation for a new dream."
In recognition of her leadership,, the Board of Trustees
designated the Science and Technology Hall, the Sister
Cooke, RSCJ Science and Technology Hall, to be
known as Cooke Hall.
