One of the most important ways campus ministers are called
to serve the Carrollton Community is through hosting retreat
Campus Ministry was started byservice coordinator, Ana De
Armas, in 2013, It began with 42 High School students and
this year has more than 60 members, This growing program
has made a tremendous impact on the school.
Campus ministers have the opportunity to lead retreats beginning with the Seventh Grade grade, As retreat leaders, campus ministers serve as
group leaders who facilitate discussions or contemplative prayer. In addition, campus ministers are offered the opportunity to share personal
testimonies and create activities.
Campus Ministry is a spiritual and creative outlet for students looking to serve the school community. Retreat planning provides students with a wa’
to explore and share their faith. Junior Campus Minister, Renata Peralta, shares, "Although we as campus ministers are helping the community, in
reality, the community is rewarding us with a lasting sense of accomplishment and a deeper faith".
