Halloween
Halloween has always been a fun day at Car-
rollton. Each student looks forward to dressing
up, and this year in the High School it was the
same. As a fund, raiser, students were allowed
for the first time in many years to dress up.
The proceeds from this event went toward
prom.. But the high school was not the only
school that had fun. Who would ever want to
miss the Primary parade through all the other •
schools? This year the little girls dress up from
goblins to go-go girls to M&Ms, Their smiles
and enthusiasm could been seen as they
walked around with their beautiful and 'elabo
rate costumes. In the Intermediate School, the
traditional pumpkin carving contest took
place. The desighs on this year's pumpkins
were some of the most original seen in a long
time. At the end of the day, the teachers held ,
competitions for categories such' as scariest
and funniest pumpkin. In the Junior High, the
day was full of spirit and enthusiasm on the
part of all the students. Besides all ,the fun of
being able to dress up, the High School Stu
dents also were prepared for Masquerade Ball
with a preview of what was to come that night.
Senior Molly Mahany showed the school her
best imitation oif Madonna with her song
‘TYpzeU". The Rhythm and .Rhymes dommittee
held a costume contest with the winners being
sophomore Veronica Alvarez, and junior Paola
Chamorro, and the dance class also performed
an upbeat number that all enjoyed. Halloween
