Reflections on Wise Choices
PRIMARY SCHOOL
Goal V is all about making wise choices.
This year I learned a lot about growing up. I learned that it's better
to study longer and give all my effort than not to give as much
effort as I can. I also learned that I wasn't very good at turning
things in on time. But now I do. Gabriela Lorenzo '19
I learned a lot about growing up like I can do things if I try at
Carrollton. Carrollton is a wonderful school I am thankful to go to a
good school and have good friends but the most important thing is
to make wise choices. Caroline Flynn '19
Wise choices are very important. Wise choices are doing the things
you need to do so you can grow stronger. People call it discipline.

I like to make wise choices all the time so that I can be trusted and
have friends. I think that I sometimes make unwise choices with
people and actions. So, I always want to think before I speak, and Mixed media by Azul Espirito Santo '19

INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL
Goal V in the Intermediate School means growing into a responsible person. All students show respect
toward others and we care for each other, and we accept people for who they are. The curriculum gets more
difficult each year and it is especially challenging for 4th graders because they are just getting used to taking
on more responsibility. In the Intermediate School students develop knowledge of the world around them.
They also learn to make wise choices for themselves
instead of depending on others to tell them what to do,
which promotes self discipline. In the Intermediate School
the students learn to be leaders since the school program
encourages them to develop their leadership skills.
The school program has opportunities in which students
can share their talents in various classes, such as music,
art, and literature. There are also afterschool enrichment
programs such as choir, drama and robotics in which a
student's gifts can be further developed. The enrichment
program also helps students discover their hidden talents.
Students also volunteer at the "Barnyard" which is a way
to develop a commitment to community service. The
school teaches students to share their blessings with others. The students of the Intermediate School also
learn how to take care of themselves health wise. In each Intermediate School grade level, the faculty and
staff make sure to prepare students for what is to come. - Elizabeth Cordoves '16 and Rafaella Espin '16
