What a Zoo!
The Class o f 2004 listened carefully to instructions.
“Do to your freshman as was once done to you” said junior Margarita Mayorga at the begining of the
week. The annual tradition where the juniors introduce the freshmen to high school life was held
from September 18 through 21, 2000. The theme this year was “Animals,” and each junior brought
costumes for their randomly assigned freshman, or “little sister, to wear. Also, special activities, like
a game called “Who knows their sister best,” were held during lunch throughout the week.
On the last day, juniors and freshmen enjoyed a pizza lunch in El Jardin, and those who did not
participate in the week’s activities had to sing along to songs by Christina Aguilera and Jessica
Simpson. The week was net only fun, it was, as freshman Chloe Wepper stated, “a creative and
exciting experience for our first month at the High School.”
