A Day
With Dad
Each year, events are held in all five schools to
honor the father-daughter bond. On this day,
fathers take a day off from their business life to
spend some quality time with their daughters.
The fathers are treated to a breakfast, and later
they enjoy a show or an exhibit presented by their
daughters.
Montessori and Primary students enjoyed a
breakfast where students displayed their artwork
in tribute to their fathers. The Intermediate
School also hosted a breakfast at El Jardin where
the students displayed their work for their fathers
to view and enjoy. The Junior High held their
breakfast at the Duchesne Campus, and the
Liturgical Dance Club performed in celebration of
their fathers. This year, the High School took a
different approach as Congress organized a game
called, “Who knows their father and daughter
best?” There were four father-daughter teams who
competed against each other; and after much
questioning, laughter, and surprised reactions, the
team of senior Ana Victoria Soto and her father,
Mr. Victor Soto, emerged victorious.
